I definitely like Carolina out of the NFC, mainly because they don't have too much competition, but also they have a great receiving core and a tenacious defense. On the AFC side, I always want to say Indianapolis, but this year, without Edgerrin James, the Colts offense may be very one-dimensional. Cincinnati's fate rests on the shoulders of Carson Palmer and his injury. My favorite for the Super Bowl right now is actually the Denver Broncos. A solid quartereback, experienced players on both sides of the ball, good special teams, and it does not matter who their running back is because under Mike Shanahan's brilliant scheming, he turns any no name back into a star. Terrell Davis, Tatum Bell, and now we look for Mike Bell to emerge as well. So Denver is my frontrunner, but keep Carolina, Cincy, and maybe even Dallas if they can get that chemistry right.

Denver will make it this year. That Jay Cutler is too good, this is what Plummer needs to back him up. They have all the right things in place to win.
