Use Nero to make an image of the cd this will take the boot loader which you can not copy by just copy cd then click on the file with .nrg at the end Nero will reopen and you have a bootable XP disk you are allowed to make 1 backup copy for your own use

Procedure to Make .nrg image file to Bootable Windows XP CD
It's Actually Really Easy .
Firstly, Take the image (.nrg) format of your windows xp CD using Nero.
Once you have that .nrg image of your windows xp CD,
follow this Simple Procedure to Make windowsxp.nrg image file to make Bootable Windows XP CD
Required Software
Download Nero-7.11.10.0c_all_update
Serial key : Serial no : 1C82-0000-19E5-MAAX-4001-6184-6083
1.) Open Nero StartSmart
2.) Click on Make Data CD
3.) Go to Image,Project,Copy
4.) Click on the task "Disk Image or Saved Project." It opens the file browse window.
5.) Find an image file, typically with the extension windowsxp.nrg file
Make this below setting after 5th step to make it Bootable windows xp CD
Current recorder : G:HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA - H10N
Disc type : CD
Image file : windowsxpimage.nrg
6.)Place a recordable blank CD or DVD into the optical drive on your computer
and Click "Burn" in the Nero window to start the burning process.

Firstly make the image of the disk using Nero, then burn this image on a blank CD. use preferably low speed i.e 8x.....
Ur bootable xp cd is ready.

u write this cd with nero.in nero there is option make bootable disk
choose that & make bootable cd.i thnk this is easiest way.
