About 12 -14 weeks ago, lottery officals stopped using the random ball selector and started to use THEIR computers to select the winning numbers. Since that time, if you check past winning tickets for the last year, you will find the $2 to $20 winners have increased, but the larger payouts have been reduced around 30%.
Information leaked that out that only .45 cents of EVERY dollar is applied to the lottery payouts and .55 cents is for administerative costs. Lottery officals have stated, "If you don't like it, don't play". Wow. Have we created a monster or what?

Does this bother anyone else, or are we so used to being screwed we are numb to the financial rape the working class sustains by the city and state governments?

One thing I did notice is that you haven't bothered to put which state or country is doing this.

I do play the lottery, but did not know this. It makes you wonder how "random" the selections are. I guess if their attitude is "if you don't like it, don't play", maybe we should all stop playing and let the system shut down.

well, that is still better than the 90% of our tax money that is wasted on "administerative costs", give the lottery guys time and they will be playing at the same level as the U.S. govment.
