That's not for us to judge and anyone who says they know is playing God.

My brother committed suicide but he was clinically depressed and alcoholic. But he was a kind, loving, gentle man. Someone tell me God didn't have mercy on him. I hate these holier-than-thou types who think they know how God judges!

Depends on what you consider paradise. The only proven Truth-READ PROVEN AS FACT_ is the bible. JESUS CHRIST fufilled every prophecy in the old testament. every one--hundreds. He said no man gets to the Father but by me. He said you must believe in your heart and profess with your mouth that Jesus is the Son of the Living God. Just believing is not enough. satan believes in God. But you know he is not going to heaven. So you must repent of your sins and profess that Jesus died for ALL of your sins, no matter what. God is good and just to forgive us our sins. He throws them into the bottomless pit and remembers them no more. satan will lie to you and tell you are too bad, but he is the great lier only out to kill steal and destroy. Do not believe the lies about islam/muslim/ they do NOT worship the same God. Alah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I have read the quran and know this to be true. Now to answer your question. A person of a sound mind would not commit suicide. It would be a disease and therefore if you are saved then you would go to heaven. If you are considering suicide please go to a parent or loved one aunt, uncle, teacher, policeman, doctor and ask them for help.
May God Bless you and show you the "Truth". Jesus said" I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no one gets to the Father, but by Me." He loves you more then you will ever know, no matter what you have done. Ask Him to come into your heart and be Lord of your life.
I know that this helped just by you reading it. Truth penatrates all barriers.

Suicide is self murder, it is said thou shalt not commit murder. You said paradise which is the Islam version of what heaven is, in certain Muslim secs. they teach that when you destroy the anti-christ you earn your key to paradise. That is their religious belief and I cannot tell another man what to believe but when you kill innocent people yourself included, there is no paradise in that.

One will only know for sure when he gets there. Different religions and different beliefs say different things.
Terrorists who blow themselves up believe paradise will be waiting for them with 72 virgins and stuff. Kamikaze pilots believed they would go to heaven. Ocidental religions say suicide is a sin.
Who knows?

One might be judged for not caring for oneself, even if one believe that Jesus had saved them already. Even if one does not believe in Jesus or God, committing suicide will only gurantee the opposite of paradise. Please take life seriously, there are many more unfortunate people out there, such as disables (blinds, mute, lamed, deaf, retarded, etc.) and the one who die without even living (abortions). Take good care of yourself, you may find the true meaning of living if you seek HIM.

I read several years ago about case studies of people that had committed suicide, died and the paramedics brought them back. All of them reported seeing demons and monsterlike spirits attacking them. I have never heard anything like that from the after death experiences of people that were revived after accidental death. Makes you think.

Sure! No one's come back to say they didn't. Depends if you believe in paradise or not.
