i find that aol freezes up my computer and yahoo doesn't always play the music i want. msn is ok but i really can't decide which one. and paltalk isn't always safe.

I've been a fan of msn messenger but as an email client yahoo
so it depends on what functionality of a portal you are discussing is what ist depends on

For most purposes, Yahoo. As for messengers, I've never used one, but when I do I'll probably use MSN.

Trillian is pretty neat, because it allows you to keep your user IDs together with one program, and to use the same program to chat with Yahoo/AOL/MSN, etc.
