Proof for hyperbolic universe?
we heard that universe is elliptical
In Elliptic space, every light ray is a geodesic line. Light rays will be circling the geodesic line forever unless blocked by some object. We can see the same light ray of star many times, because the light ray circles in the space forever. Also, we can see the same star from opposite directions many times, because the light ray from other side of star circles in the space forever too. Since the Universe was at least many billions old. All the lights of the sun and stars had collected so many billions of years. The Universe should be so bright even at nighttime. Of course that is not the case. So the possibility of the Universe is only Hyperbolic Universe.

If we are in Hyperbolic space. Very logically all the astronomy data should use the Hyperbolic formula and rules. So the redshift of Galaxies are cause by the nature of Hyperbolic space, in which the space stretches the light spherical front [as we knew that by using redshift.. we concluded that universe is expanding]

i think i know what a redshift is..
it is the reddening of light as it moves away from us, due to the Doppler effect.

u didnt answer my Q???

Ok... The answer is yes, I believe so.

The reason that there seems to be a conflict with what you are saying is simply the wrong assumption that because space is expanding, the universe must be elliptic.

Reason being, the assumption is incomplete. For the elliptic universe to come to being, we must also say that even though the universe is expanding, it will eventually come to a stop and collapse on itself. That is the premise that the things you are saying about lines following a geodesic line that returns to its starting point and continues to loop must be operating under.

A hyperbolic universe is one where the geodesic lines do not come back its starting point. This is the universe that simply expands, with no hope of ceasing the expansion and shrinking back.

Simply put, an elliptic universe is closed (everything is contained within an entity that has a limit), while a hyperbolic universe is open (the entity itself is limitless, and will expand forever).

Both models, however, still say the universe is expanding.

Prakash, why hyperbolic? Or elliptic? Or, for that matter, why the insistence on any particular shape?

The fact that the sky's not bright at night really is a good indication that the universe doesn't contain an infinite amount of stars, and, hence, isn't an infinite universe or, in galactic terms, isn't fully evolved yet - rather than indicating any shape or boundary.

Consider this for a moment: Space is 'nothing' without objects. Space is no more than the distance between the objects, and as the universe expands, it is literally creating space.
And, interestingly enough, the 'nothing' is infinite - no problem here, since infinite 'nothing' is nothing - until is becomes the distances and environment for the celestrial bodies.

No particular shape, just the result of the Big Bang from an enormous, incomprehensible amount of energy expanding and forming mass from its raw energy in all different directions and velocities. Creating space as it races outward from every direction.

Basicly I agree with poorcocoboiboi. But you have to understand that cosmology is not a science you can take in to a laboratory and verify. It's always a matter of interpretation.
WMAP's measurements of the cosmic microwave background radiation seems to tell us that the universe is flat. This properly mean that the universe is immensely much bigger than what we can see through our telescopes and is still expanding. Further more there is good reason to belive that the universe will expand forever. If this is true, this means that a foton that passes earth will never come back our way again. Allan goth from Standford did put forward the inflation teory: Inflation should have happen shortly after the big bang and can explain how everything can be much bigger than what we can see. I suggest you follow some of the good video lectures on the net about subject.

Not only is the Universe expanding, but it's expanding faster than the speed of light so we cannot see the same light source more than once.

"Hang on!" I hear you cry, "nothing can travel faster than light if it has mass!"

True, no massive object can accelerate to the speed of light because it takes infinite energy, so no massive object can travel faster than light either. But red-shift is NOT movement OR acceleration; it is a change in the fabric of space-time ITSELF (specifically, it is spacetime coming into being). As such it is not limited by relativity.

So the simple fact of expansion of the Universe implies the background colour will always be black. I'm afraid that knocks the legs out from your argument.

Our universe is infinite, which means it has no boundary or edge. As for the red shift, that indicates that pieces within the universe, galaxies stars and planets etc. are moving away from each other. This is even true within our own solar system. The Moon is moving away from the Earth at a rate of 4" per year.

we are able to declare that the Universe is increasing by ability of potential of utilising Hubble's regulation which tells us that a galaxy's speed of recession (the fee at which that's shifting removed from us) is proportional to its distance from us, i.e. a galaxy further away strikes removed from us quicker than one on the brink human beings. The pull of gravity isn't as super on those further away so as that they bypass quicker. that's in many situations complicated to appreciate once you communicate approximately that that would desire to propose we are interior the centre if each and each little element is shifting removed from us - so attempt to think of of the galaxies as dots on a balloon. As you inflate the balloon, all the dots get further removed from one yet yet another and once you're sitting on one dot, it would not look as in case you're shifting yet fairly that each and each little element else is. There are 3 fashions for the increasing universe: the 1st is the area the mass indoors the Universe isn't super adequate to triumph over the fee of expansion. The Universe will develop continuously. the 2nd is the area the fee of expansion isn't adequate to triumph over the mass and gravity pulls each and each little element decrease back to the area it began out. the bright type is the area the Universe is composed of adequate mass to stay far off from non-end expansion, yet now no longer lots that it will fall down - it is going to stay in one place, now no longer increasing or contracting. I bear in ideas reading that the preliminary burst of light from the super Bang bigger out in a halo of light and if we could get to the modern 'section' of the Universe, we could see that gentle, yet does now no longer have the potential to be sure some thing previous it, once you communicate approximately that gentle hasn't reached there yet! i like that concept XD

The only proof we all need, is whether our mind is elliptical or hyperbolic and expands in the right direction, once this is established, we may tackle the rest of His creation.
