at claires yesterday, and i am not sure if when i use the cleaner on the cotton ball, i am not sure if it goes in or cleans it or not. And when i turn it, i dont know if im doing it right. Are you supposed to hold the front part (the ball part) or the back to twist it? please help

PS: My stupid little sister (3) just came up behind me and poked at my earring and said, "I'm just feeling it!" and now it kind of hurts. is that bad? or is she stupid!!?

Just kinda squirt the cleaner on the ear where the earing is...when u turn it just turn it around using the ball on front (u do that to prevent it from sticking to ur ear) and it might be sore or getting infected if that hurt...make sure ur cleaning it properly

your ears will hurt for a while. make sure you hold the cotton ball on squeeze it a little bit on the earring front and back so it soaks thru the hole. make sure you do this 3 times a day. also, twist the earring from the front OR back, which ever is easier. make sure you do a full turn. they will heal in about 4 weeks, so don't take the earrings out til then!

Well, when you turn it, use the front. That's just so that it doesn't get stuck there or cause an infection or anything.
Your ears are probably going to hurt for a few days, but that's natural, so don't worry about it. If they hurt for several weeks, it's probably an infection, and then you need to find out what that's about.
As for your sister, she's three, so expect that kind of thing.

Kinda shift your earring and clean around it. don't forget to do the back. Clean them 2-3 times a day. Turn your earrings twice a day in a full circle. Most people find it easier to to twist the backing. Don't take your earrings out after 6 weeks or wear dangle earrings until 6 months to a year of piercing. Never wear hoops or dangling sleeping and take them out for gym. Yous sister shouldn't touch your ears. You don't want germs to get in your ears and touching= pain. They'll be sore for a week or so its normal.

i am a professional tattoo artist and body piercer its not hard but dont use a cotton ball use a q-tip put the stuff on it pull out the front clean around it and then push on the front to expose the back and clean around it also use a bit of salt water on your ear if it starts to hurt it takes the sting away and helps it heal quicker just use a lil salt and a lil water and there ya go =) as long as it doesnt get extremly red and start pusing a yellowish green color its fine

Do not twist the jewelry...the skin does not heal onto the post and this will likely cause tearing to the fistula (the skin tube the jewelry sits in) or pull crusties into the piercing which can cause infections. I'd recommend not using their solution and instead use a sea salt soak of 1/8tsp to 8oz water-you can get this at the grocery store, not the same as table or epsom salts. do this 2x a day for 10min. This will get blood flow to the area and help it heal faster (much like cuts do when your swimming at the beach).

I shake up the bottle so it's all fizzy, then I just squeeze it out onto my ear. You just have to do that twice a day for thirty days. You twist the earring at the front.
