There are great programmes in different genres of television, its hard to compare say a comedy to a soap as they are different types of entertainment. However i would say that Friends and Lost are very good programmes! Friends is very funny and you can watch the episodes over and over again and they can cheer you up. Lost keeps you on the edge of you seat and you can't wait for the next episode!

I LOVE an Aussie show called 'The Chaser's War on Everything'.

It's absolutely hilarious and leaves me in stitches every time, and I'm a VERY difficult perosn to even get a slight smile out of with a joke or skit.
