What if, in twenty years or something, polygamy became legal? Men and women were both allowed to have multiple spouses? Even if you own fourteen husbands, those husbands are allowed to have wives and those wives are allowed to have husbands? Basically, there would be no rules or boundaries in the marriage game. That would be insane!

No. Because you have a valid point. If we were able to marry how many people we wanted. I think it would cause too many probems in our society. What's the purpose of a marriage between a man and a woman if you both get to be with all these different people. Marriage wouldn't be special anymore and you might as well be single.

polygamy is legal in my country and in islam, but it only applies to men and not women, men are allowed to have 4 wives granted he have the permission to get married by his other wives.
This is allowed because, back in the days this is the only way to help women survive, but nowadays there's not really much of polygamy applied, most 1st wives wont let , or sometimes the husband is not capable enough to support 1 family.you have to fit certain criteria before you are allowed legally to marry another woman.

but the way u ask the question, of course it would be insane because it does not have any rules or regulations to be followed.

No. It is against the teachings of the Bible. It might be fun to fantasizes about having multiple husbands, but would you really want them lying around drinking beer and watching sports day and night, have them fighting each other to see who was going to spend the night with you (a schedule would never work), and all of that financial responsibility with not a single one of them willing to go out and get a job? And what about the mess around the house?---men are slobs. I dare say that before it was all over there would be bloodshed in the house.

Good question. I think laws against polygamy, or same-sex marriage, or whatever, are useless because if people want to do something, then by god they're gonna do it no matter what the law says.

Personally, one man around the house would be quite enough for me; some days, it would be more than enough! But if others want to make other arrangements, then that's none of my business.

I think it would be okay. That way you could all live in one big house, and have multiple incomes, as well as have less chores per person. You could also have a HOT experienced woman to take on the sex role, and then have the motherly one take care of the kids. LOL.
Women could have the hung guy for sex, and the handy man work around the house, the business man bring in the bread, etc.

NO WAY JOSE,

It has taken me thirty seven years to get my wife to calm down and learn to enjoy life instead of constantly push, push, push. Now, finally she and I can enjoy the life we have, our grandkids and some leisure time. It about wore me out to make sense to one wife, I'd go insane if I had tried to do that with two let alone three or more.

Finally, now, we are true soul mates and get along so wonderfully. It is a pleasure to come home and spend time with her.

POLYGAMY, NO WAY!!

NO!!! Although i am not married yet, neither do i have a girlfriend, i think that it destroys your relationship... And to think, people are trying to prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, why would they want to have multiple sex partners?! That increases the chance of spreading another STD epidemic...

No definitely not. I've been married twice. I have a hard enough time managing one spouse at a time, I sure don't want more.'
