If you have enough room to do this,,,,it works. Take a towel and put it over the wax. Apply a hot iron to the towel. The wax will be pulled up into the towel. I work at a Catholic Church. We are constantly getting the wax out of the carpets this way. A paper towel will also work.

Use and iron and a cut-up paper grocery bag (no waxed or "shiny" paper), in your case, put the paper on both sides of the mesh and then iron on low to medium (be careful not to melt the mesh). Use fresh paper until the wax is gone.

Works for fabrics and carpets, too.

Place absorbent paper over and gently press with a warm iron.

i heard if you freeze it, and then remove the frozen wax before it completely thaws will work..
