check the warranty that you received with the paint shield (simoniz wax) you paid for, most of the paint shield warranties cover against fallout, acid rain, fade, and your situation may be covered under this warranty, second if not covered by the paint shield, check with the dealer on the manufacturer's warranty, I know GM covers this for 12 months or 12k even tho it's not due to a defect in the product, if the dealer denies it call Toyota they often have sympathy and may offer to repair it on a "goodwill" basis to keep you a happy customer

Three months with out a reapplication of wax. Most of the dealer install sealants put extra money in the sales department. The best thing now complete wash job then clay bar Mequires quick detailer gentle circular motion sands down the imperfection and follow up with re-waxing the whole car. Bird droppings acid rain water spotting can leave burnt spots in the paint. Find a Mequries gold class finish kit with a video tape I even learned watching it.

Simoniz isn't that good anyway but bird poop should be removed as soon as possible. May need to polish the paint but if acids etched it, you can only reduce some of the damages visibility.

Peel off poop promptly.
Remove bird poop as soon as possible after a bird has dive-bombed your car. Some bird droppings are highly acidic, which could eat through the paint if you allow them to sit and bake.

Other enemies include bugs and bird droppings, which eat into your paint job. Once your paint job starts to fade, it is irreversible. Be sure to protect your car's finish by washing it regularly.

It would be the acid in the dropping. I would contact the place that did the wax job. Most places claim that their product and service will eliminate what you describe.
