Wolf spiders are considered a fairly aggressive spider and they can inflict a nasty bite. They are not fatal, but the bite can be serious to children and the elderly. The following link will take you to a website that provides general information on many types of spiders as well as methods of eradication:

Wolf spiders are very common in michigan, especially this time of year.

The are only harmful if you are a bug.

In a few weeks when it starts to frost at night many of them will die off. If they bother you call an exterminator, or get a bug bomb/fogger especially for spiders.

Who knows, go buy some foggers for the attic, the house and for under the house. I also wonder if a cat might help you after you deal with the problem.

Call an exterminator. It's alot better than trying to get rid of them with products from the hardware store. The exterminator will ususally spray once, and your done.
