Being very unexpectedly dumped by my boyfriend, whom I thought I was deeply in love with, on the very same day my beloved stepmother unexpectedly died.

We knew she had cancer, but nobody, including her doctors, thought she was going to leave us that early. My boyfriend was looking for perfection, and I wasn't perfect..thank God.

At the time though....I thought I was going to lose my mind.

My wonderful, loving husband dying, was equally the worst thing, but I did not lose two of my favorite people in the same day...I still am not 100% over my husband dying, and probably will never be, but I have carved out a new life for myself, and I think he is giving me a thumbs up from Heaven.

Well,it's a toss up between having a heart attack and heart surgery, and marrying a man who I THOUGHT was a nice guy,and him molesting my 2 1/2 year old daughter until the age of 5,when she told me,I sent him to prison, and they took my child away, because they thought I KNEW and did nothing, what a crock. The system is not FOR the children,as one would believe,it's a nightmare, and still is,since my child hasn't been home in 8 months.

After watching him suffer for 2 years with an illness he was never going to recover from only to have him go into cardiac arrest in the hospital and become brain dead, I had to make the decision to let my 36 year old husband and father of our three kids die. Surrounded by his family, we watched as he peacefully passed on. He died on January 21, 2004.
