Take courses in creative writing. writing a joke, comes from within your character. originality is the name of the game. never copy anyone's material. it will be discovered.
Once you believe you are ready, write a simple joke and ask a trusted friend for their honest opinion. learn from their comments. do not take criticism seriously, at first. keep practicing, till you have found your mark. the best jokes come from material that you are most familiar with. example: knock, knock jokes. some creative writer had a brillant idea and applied it to knock, knock jokes. it worked.
Like everything else in life, practice makes perfect. your inner attitude will reflect in your jokes. sit and bring forth the funny stuff. the world awaits your talent.

I'm sure you'll get some really good answers here...
I don't know if i know how to write jokes or not.
so I won't attempt to be the expert that spews out all knowing advice.
However, I do believe in learning from someone that knows what they are doin'. Either thru knowledge or experience in their particular field....
so, who is someone (or a group of them) that you like, admire, feel inspired by, that "learned" to write jokes?
They at least know how they did it! Then maybe you could copy what they did.
Some of the early tv comedians like milton berle stole his material (which was a joke in itself) and was made even more famous for doing so....
Some of them had joke writers as well and the comedians just memorized them.
now there is a group that looks ,to me, to be playing to an audience who thinks hearing a "forbidden" word is funny. and the one on the stage just finds different ways to say those words. that's not a comedian, just the class clown wanting attention.
Good comedians don't resort to that, at least, for very long!
1* Berle often admonished younger comedians like Lenny Bruce and George Carlin about their X-rated humor, and challenged them to be just as funny without the four-letter words.
So, I guess I should have started with this short answer to your question.:
"How can I learn to write jokes?"
from someone that knows how¿

You should put in your own personal experiences into something and add a catcvhy fraze that is funny and most people can relate to. Also you have to put alot of humor into a joke. Try asking afriend or a family member who you think is a total comedy genius and ask them for a little mors help... Or youy can rent Seinfeld from BLOCKBUSTER!!!!!

You seem to be doing OK, but you need to realize that jokes are a bit more involved. Catch some of the stand up on Comedy Central and see how they do it
