crystallography deals with the arrangement of atoms at three dimension. this structure influence the properties of metals. metals with body sentered cubic has less felexibility than faced centered cubic.this structure influence upon other roperties such as heat treatment , ductility, brittlement. we have seven crystalogriphycal syructure: cubic, monoclynic, hexagonal, triclynic, orthorombic, tetragonal. i think the nature of metals for example the diameter of atom influence the structure of metals hope this is useful .
