Why many mexican music of Marching beat or Walz beat has the same repetitive bass pattern?

by marching beat i mean TUN TA TUN TA TUN TA TUN TA
so the bass goes PU___PA____PU____PA____PU____PA

and walz would be drums: TUN TA TA TUN TA TA TUN TA TA
and bass goes PU_________PA_________PU________PA

well anyways, many CORRIDO or TEXANO MUSIC or others, have the bass part doing the same thing all the time and they never change it up..it gets boring. Why dont they ever get some creative juices to change it up?
