I have looked up that model number. I dont think it is an adsl wireless modem router..it looks like just an adsl wireless router (with no internal modem)...you wont be able to connect this to the sagem modem because as far as I know the sagem modem has no ethernet connection socket.
So, if I am right about the router not being a wireless adsl MODEM router you should have bought that type instead. I have the Netgear wireless modem router Model DG834PN....(no need for my previous external broadband modem)

Connect the DSL line to the DLS modem
Run a network cable from the DSL modem to the router
There will usually be one port on the router (either the first or last one) that is marked for download. Connect the cable from the DSL modem to that port.
Run another cable from a router port to the network card of your PC
Run the CD that came with your router and it will set everything up from there

Hello.... I guess you are using a wireless router. Follow the below instructions, this will work.
1. Connect the network cable from the Modem to your wireless router.
2. Search for available networks and connect to the one at your home... (this is just for testing)
3. Check if you are able to browse the net. Yes, then go to next step else try doing a power cycle and then connect and check.
4. Now that you are able to browse, open IE and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar, it will prompt you for a password. Enter admin as the username and click ok (password is blank)
5. Setup the security you wish to use.
Let me know if it does not work.. I will fix it for you.

your router came with it's own IP addy so you need to re-route your IP to get your comp to recognize it, but not before you uninstall the other router.
