you really have to look at his influences such as his faith (he is an extremist christian with zionist influences) AIPAC, Israel and of coure his donors. His philisophy is shaped by them all. The long term goal is to, of course be the dominant power in the world, which what america is right now. other goals are to create an israel that spreads across syria, jordan, palestine and parts of lebanon and egypt to await the coming of what the zionists believe (and some christians) is the messiah. with his power afd forign policy Bush can provide that and this is why the middle east is in such a crisis, because they forgot about the original inhabitants. anyway, the philosophy of h is foreign policy is about power, dominance and wealth. he should be warned that

all great empires come to an end- and the world awaits.

Well the so-called "Bush Doctrine" was never written by Bush.
It was written by Paul Wolfowitz during his fathers administration.
But most policy for this country is written by THINK TANKS.

Neoconservatism. Use military force in the middle east as way of installing democratic governments. These governments will be pro-western and willing to accept Israel as a neighbor.as well as the investments of US capitalists. This is thought to be a win-win strategy.
