I've seen wonderboy and liked it, as well as the thing with Sean connery (can't recall the name).
Anyone know others?

I haven't seen any film depictions of well known writers that I liked, so I'm hoping 'Papa' with Anthony Hopkins will be good, as I expect it will, about Ernest Hemingway.
You could dust off a documentary about Gloria Steinem: 'Paris Was A Woman' about the Left Bank's cultural scene between WWI & WWII, received several awards.
A love story which unfolds through an old man's journal, called 'The Notebook', was very poignant.
