Iran is a country which is, by and large, full of normal people who want to earn a living and not cause trouble. Unfortunatley, as in most countries, there are a small minority who want to hold all the power and use religion as their weapon. A lot of Iranians now regret getting rid of the Shah. I know this from working in the country and speaking to the people.

Religion and politics should be separate, here they are not.
I have met some great people from Iran.
And the country MUST be in a state of chaos because the pentagon said so! Jesus, when will people look at more than what they are brainwashed into thinking?
The guys i was talking to from Iran earlier this week never mentioned any thing about any dispute there, maybe the pentagon never had time to tell them, i will call Iran later and ask.
The point from the Iranians regarding the nuclear plant was, why should "a" country be able to tell us what we can and cant do.
Its a valid point when you look from the other side of the fence, why should a country that already has nuclear capabilities be able to "Ban" another from having the same as them?
You can see why they are ticked off.

As an islamofascist government they are the largest danger to world peace today. The religious fanaticism instilled in the leaders of the country make them willing to kill all of their people or Israelis or us to prove their point.

Interestingly enough the people of Iran are sick of what is going on and it is believed that if Iran cannot get into a war soon that there will be a revolution. I think the US government knows this and that is why we have not bombed them back to the desert, we are waiting, hoping and probably helping the dissidents.

I think that Iran is full of a bunck of wonderful people that have a long tradition o good manners and hospitality. I think that it is very unfortunate that these people have been subjected to the rule of an extremist religious trend in government.
I base this on the wonderful people I have met from Iran. Nothing else.

I don't know about others.but in my idea Iranian governments r like USA and other countries who want power to dominat others and they try to do it more than the other with everything they have and everything they find.but like everywhere it's just the government not people/people don't want it.even in news they force some people to say those things.but inreality people don't want it.they even kill anyone who say he/she is against these mad ideas.
My answer is based on a powerful reason.cuz I'm an Iranian. If you have any questions about these things come to me.I'll tell you everything.about any thing you ask.

Still on the fence about it.

On one hand the president is one of my heroes because he is standing up to America. He is right in saying that only Iran has the right to decide whether they should work towards nuclear power and weapons.

Pakistan is a Muslim nation and they were left to develop them, AND HAVE DONE.

The concern is being raised about the protection and security of Israel.

Though Israel should not exist, which for those who know how it came about, can appreciate,It's wrong to say you wanna wipe it from the face of the Earth coz you're gonna get bombed yourself by America coz uncle SAM protects Israel, and you're only gonna end up harming your own people.

Develop power, develop weapons, but DON'T MAKE THREATS !

I think it's a hot, dry dusty place. I think the people are basically all right, maybe a bit more religious than we generally are in the UK, and probably poorer in the main. I think if they want to refine Plutonium, wether it's for power-generation or weapons, that's their business and we should not invade their country or drop bombs on them. I think the western world's leaders are going to do whatever stupid bloody George Bush wants them to do, Christ knows why, and I think that the media machines are trying to make us think Iranians are evil and less human than we are, so we will not protest when our armies invade. I think Bush wants to be the only one with his finger on a button that can blow the world to bits, so we all have to do as he says, and I think that's silly.

I think Iran should fall in line and stop rocking the boat. But if you think they are saying the very people who are trying to block our science are the people who already have a nuclear device its a dilemma

what i think is the way they choose to live is their own business and i can understand why they don't want to be ordered around by America the bully of the world and its pathetic hangers on like tony Blair what gives them the right to dictate who can and who cant have nuclear technology and who can blame them if they want weapons if i lived there and i could see whats been done to my neighbouring countries(look what they done to Iraq for nothing but lies )id think my country needed protecting a lot of people should look a bit closer to home and see who the real bullies and terrorists are
