Well... after 80,000,000 years they have found dinosaur bones so I guess that's what they would find of us. Oh, don't forget the disposable diapers...which it turns out aren't really disposable at all.

I heard once that if such a thing happened, then all trace of human activity would vanish in about 20, 000 years.
Perhaps the only things surviving, from the human race after this, would be space probes like the Voyagers, winging their way through the interstellar void.
Even these would have succumbed to the metals sublimation after a couple of million years or so.

It is questions like this that make you want to scream! IF IF IF!!!!!
Who knows? Is the only certain answer that can be given ( it won't however stop a bunch of nerds saying otherwise). Assuming the above happened then it would take far longer than your supposition for any form of life to emerge, let alone intelligent life.Bearing in mind that the earth is about three quarters through its life cycle, I would take a guess and say that any intelligent life form would have had its chips! Oh no, I have answered the question, I must be a nerd!

There are extra creatures that are frequently referred to as dinosaurs than are literally biologically categorised as dinosaurs. The cataclysmic disaster which you're asking approximately is defined in 4 consecutive chapters in super element, Genesis 6, 7, 8, 9. The fosil checklist provides a flood of evidence with regard to the embeding of fosils interior the sedimentary layers that have been deposited as a effect of what you will study interior the above chapters. Species have been going extinct all alongside and proceed to realize this. some great mamals have not, which contain elephants, rhinoceruses, hippopotamuses, and different tall or fearce, somewhat super mamals. The question of why "dinosaurs" (in accordance to the organic and organic definition) have all long gone extinct, i'm no longer qualified to declare climate all have or while specific species died out or the case by ability of case motives. The question of why "dinosaurs" (interior the extensive and loose experience) have all long gone extinct; the definion in its extensive experience is all those super mamals that have long gone extinct are "dinosaurs", so the reason being as a results of how the definition is built in peoples minds: so all human beings is in errors in that regard. yet you will possibly might desire to envision the particular definition of "dinosaur" which you're utilising. a minimum of those dinosaurs that are fosilized died interior the maner defined in Genesis 6, 7, 8, 9.

If they were intelligent they must be through the scientific cycle of human beings again. They must develop again the science of Nuclear Physics and Geiger Counter with which they will find the nuclear wastes scattered here and there in the earth's environment by human beings. I think they must wonder about the source of radioactivity from Uranium etc. and their intelligent historians will rebuild our story, just like today we rebuild the history of Egypt, Indus Vally etc.

The Hell Gate Bridge.
Seriously, 50 million years is a huge chunk of time and with geologic activity, things like the pyramids and the great Wall of China might fall.
They might find dumb things, like coke cans and golf balls

They might notice some of the concrete and buildings that are here, i don't think 50 million years is going to get rid of all that. Just remember the dinosaurs didn't build houses so we didn't have anything of theirs to find.

There's a fair chance that our sun would have turned supernova and completely engulfed the Earth by that time, therefore nothing of the planet will be left to inhabit.

Who knows probably some fossils and the remains of buildings. However the interesting thing about the question is that there is out there some species which would evolve to take our place so we ain't so special

I guess our bones first. Buildings probably won't last as long and be unrecongisable after 50 million years.
