They have religious zeal and determination. They believe that what they are doing is their sacred duty. It is an honor and privilege. They are callous about the people they kill because under the Islamic definition of "innocent" the people are not innocent.

The terrorists are not afraid of death. They believe they will go directly to jahnah (heaven).

They are so passionate in the wrong things that they are doing. They are religious people believe it or not......but they have been brain-washed into thinking that they will be rewarded in Heaven for carrying out their acts. They think that they are right by doing what they do, and they are taught this by a leader (Osama Bin Laden) who's only agenda is revenge.

And we all know what happens with revenge!

Evil has them brain washed that they will be rewarded and go to heaven for this kind of action.
They see it as killing off evil in a holy war against evil.
Little do they know that they are serving evil.
