the best way to clean fine jewelry is if you don't have an ultrasonic and a pressurized steamer then boil it in a pot of soapy water and remove it with rubber coated tongs while it is still hot and rinse it off in your sink with your sprayer concentrating under the diamond where most gunk gets trapped... however do not do this with emeralds, opals, or any stone that may have been treated because they are not tolerant to heat.....

Use a rough stone, no joke. Remember that diamonds are very strong when cleaning it, you must not be afraid to use force. After you are finished, pawn it, trust me, money is better then gems.

If you can't take it to a Jewler to have them put it in the altrasonic
cleaner, whitch I believe is Free in most . I would suggest using jewelry cleaner that you can purchase at any Kmart, Wal Mart,
Target , ect.

Just wipe it clean it will retain its shine after all its a diamond

Put it through the dishwawsher only ont he gentle setting and it wil look as good a new. Also if you go to the jeweller they willl steam clean it for you.

if only this was my problem!! if you have the money for a large diamond pay a specialist to clean it !! lol
