Both repuglicans and democrats would like to get rid of it as it does hamper business development. However how to replace the revenue is where they differ, the repuglicans would like to cut funds for such things as education and other important things, the democrats would like to replace it with another tax. Since bottom line the small business tax is passed down from the business to the consumer I don't see a problem with taxing the businesses in a fairer and different way. Bottom line somebody has to pay for the services that we have become accustomed to.
