I think of my cousin Sean, a Marine who died in Iraq almost two years ago. I hated him growing up, but that first time he came home after being in the military, I was so impressed. I couldn't believe the positive change in him. When he made the decision to volunteer to go to Iraq for the second time, I was so proud of him. When he was killed, I knew that at least he died doing something that he truly believed in. I don't know if I've ever respected anyone more than him.

Everyone!

We should respect everyone we meet in our lives in order to be respected back.

Respect yourself and you'll be treated the same, unless there are some rare cases that you tend to meet people who're (Assholes). But that's not the case.

Generally speaking, I always like to respect people and talk to them decently in order for them to respect me back and I get to a higher position in the Society.

i think of soldiers, law enforcement people, doctors, professors, common people who work hard everyday. atheletes who put long hours in practice. teachers, preachers, all those who contribute something worthwhile to society.

i do not think of respect for those who are lazy, arrogant, loud, obnoxious, overbearing. or those that try to intiminate others. i do not think of respect for people who say they demand respect. if you have to demand respect you probably haven't earned it.
