God didn't create us
Mankind is the result of scientific evolution, not the whim of some, non-existant, all powerful being.

Hi,
This is a very interesting topic, but Rani..my question is why are you worrying abt this?
Anways...I read a fiction when I was in 1st sem M Sc which goes like this- A great scientist unknown to the world will create a small globe with some cover - unknowingly due to some results of his experiments - there starts growing some small trees, some creatures, animals then - human being..continues..but the thing all this happens within a span of 1 hour. The man keeps observing that and suddenly as a human tendancy he want to try some odd thing..and he just throws a small stone on the globe and a large part of the globe will eb disturbed and many llivings will die. He shows the same thing to his friend..."
The story goes like this...from that time I think there may be a mighty power which plays like this in his labaoratory whom we call God. May be by mistake or purposly he created us...

We exist, we were never created, because we are eternal, the spiritual energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. To enjoy loving relationships, the Lord expands His internal pleasure potency and we part of that energy. That is the reason we exist. We are His eternal, spiritual energy, and our constitutional position is to serve His desires. In that situation, we enjoy unlimited bliss and perfect knowledge eternally.
At the present time we find ourselves covered by material bodies and minds and therefore bewildered by the illusory energy. In this state we think we are these temporary bodies and minds. With this misidentification as the basis for our consciousness, how can we know what is the purpose of our life? If a madman thinks himself to be someone he is not, how can he understand what he should or should not do? First we have to understand who we are before we can know what the purpose of our life is.
There are basically two paths. One path is to think we are the body and when the body dies we are finished also. In that view, what possible purpose could anyone's life have? If we all return to dust in the end, any endeavor to make sense of life is just a madman's game. Instead of having a true purpose in life, the rationale becomes simply to 'enjoy' life, which is nothing more than animal life.
On the other hand, if we are actually eternal and the body is just the vehicle we have for a few years, then our purpose becomes very clear. Our purpose is to understand our eternal nature and what our relationship is to the Supreme. This is the process of self-realization-- purification of consciousness. The advantage of human life is that we are able to inquire about the Absolute Truth and the purpose of life. The animals and other lower life forms cannot do this. But if in the human life a person doesn't make this inquiry, he is no better than an animal.
This is a very good question and I wish you all good fortune on your journey to spiritual realization.

God might be feeling great sex urge one day and he made many 'Apsaras' pregnant, then he forgot the whole thing and by the time children started bearing on those 'Apsaras', then God out of sheer fear of 'Badnaami', threw all the new borns at this earth. And so the breed started extending and the present day situation is in front of you all... THE SAME practice is still continuing but Man has replaced GOD in all this...

no or may be yes. whatever
but god was just experimenting while he created us just as we are creating robots . dont be impatient. if u really want to know the answer then u can become the next "GAUTAM BUDDHA" or "SWAMI DAYANAND" . go on thinking and do research . u can come with something new.
but prebirths r not confirmed scientifically so we cant believe what the philosophers want to say.

if we r to trust our ancestors and their mythological reasoning, god had created us so as to ensure that he is always revered and also as to help other creatures gain from us. but unfortunately we cannot give a very specific answer to this beautiful and thought-provoking question. the question can be tabled for debates unless and until man realises the fact that god exists.

The twin purpose of creating us are:
TheFirst is 'BHOG'_ to undrgo the result(consequences) of our deeds in our past life(lives) and the second is to give us the opportunity through the continued cycle of births and deaths to elevate our soul, through good deeds to ultimately get out of the cycle of birhs and deaths and to partake the Bliss( ANAND) which is the main attribute of God.
