Remember, there are people out there that do not want him found. I'm not just talking about the Pakistani or the Afghans, but also some of the Saudi's and Syrians as well.
It's an election year in the US, so the Republicans are really wanting Bin Laden caught this year...badly. The Democrats do not want him caught until after the elections. Politics plays a large part in everything.

Not really, it's a big world.
Recently Warren Jeffs, the polygamist, who was placed by the FBI on the 10 Most Wanted list - was caught in Vegas. Why? He was pulled over for a traffic violation.
The point is, how long did it take them to find Jeffs - and he was living in the U.S. - they had a rough area where they were looking for him (Utah, Arizona, Texas), had a list of known friends, relatives and associates, had a picture of him, and still it took quite a while to find him.
Now, think about Bin Laden. He's somewhere in Afghanistan, or maybe Pakistan - or maybe somewhere else completely different. We know some of his associates, but not all. We don't know exactly where he's hiding, so we can't really narrow it down, we have to count on the locals to help us - but they might be more interested in helping Bin Laden get away.
To top it off, we don't even know if Bin Laden has changed his appearance - which is entirely possible (even probable).
So no, it's not really silly for us not to be able to locate Bin Laden. And, like somebody else mentioned, the whole world isn't looking for him - the U.S., Britain, Autralia, some of our allies are looking for him. If he traveled to another country (say France) with a passport that said "Osama Bin Laden" - I'm sure they'd take him into custody, but they're probably not actively looking for him.

Silly? Seems kind of a lame word to use. Anyway...
I'm not defending Bin Ladin, so don't get your drawers in an uproar! (Uproar sounds a bit lame, too, as a matter of fact.)
Being out-smarted by this man is difficult to take, but that's what's happening. But remember, he has many friends and supporters. He has loads of money and...hey, he's no dummy.
He's chosen places to hide that he knows like the back of his hand (he fought in Afghanistan during that war with the USSR).
Again, as hard as it is for some to believe, he has many people on his side, so it's not the whole World looking for the Bastard (that word's in the Bible, so that makes it okay, right?). In other words, he's getting a lot of help.

Everybody is looking for Osama at the Pakistan/Afghanistan border. That is why I think that Osama is in Qom, Iran. Same place as Iran's Supreme's Leader Sayyid Ali Khamenei. Remember Osama wants to bridge the gap between Sunni and Shia. The US has some control over the Musharraf government in Pakistan but not over Iran. That makes Iran the safest place for Osama. Qom and Mashad have important Muslim shrines so they are the safest cities in Iran for Osama.
The US might take military action against the underground nuclear research facility at Natanz, the heavy water nuclear facility at Arak and the nuclear power plant at Bushehr, but it would not touch the holy shrines in Qom and Mashad

Well, first of all it is NOT THE WHOLE WORLD that want's to find Osama Bin Ladin... it's just AMERICA that wants to find him... the rest of the world either doesn't WANT to find him or could care less if Osama BIN Ladin is EVER found.

No. There are lots of people in hiding. If a person is smart, has money and doesn't mind living under a rock, he can survive. In the US there are thousands of arrest warrants pending, where the criminals cannot be located. Bin Laden is the only one you hear about.

No, really no longer. A unmarried international language ought to decimate international subculture, get rid of industries, and fee an unfathomable era of time and money. no longer to point, the question of what language should be chosen (Mandarin is, regardless of each and every thing, the most spoken language).

There continued to be the rumours, years after death, that, Hitler is alive, that Kennedy is alive !
Now, that this Shaikh is alive... He died years ago, was given a decent burial... The search and the accusations on providing a hide-out continue. Best of luck to rumour-mongers, searchers and researchers.
