OK so I haven't slept because this cricket has been shrieking in my room. I can't find it. I think it might be in the baseboard heater because it is echoing all over. I sprayed Raid around the baseboard. I read that they feed off clothing - oh no!!! Is there any other advice/suggestions/tips on how to get rid of this bugger and prevent any others? How long do they live because I can't take another night - I'm such a wuss!!!!!!! Thanks!

Yes! I know what you mean! I once had one outside in my balcony (lucky me!) and STILL I couldn't sleep. I think the only way is to spray tons of Raid (like I did) until it gets to the poor critter. Get out of the room at once, though!! Or wear a gas mask or something!! It's pretty strong stuff.

Get a cat, or get some sticky pads from your local supermarket or hardware store and put them behind appliances or in areas you think may be harboring the crickets.

i think you have a garden or bush in your home cut that and sleep weak without being nuts

seek and destroy , although i do believe you have with your hit of raid . p.s they don't breed to well indoors so i wouldn't panic too much .

you have to turn out the lights and listen and FIND IT!! and smack it with a newspaper or crush it with your foot!!
