In my military training we were at times practicing for real war..
Our own men were split up in two groups. One would be the goodies and the other would be the 'enemy'. But in order to make it visible the baddies wore a broad red band around their arms and legs.
. I think the reality is like that too. What we call the enemy is just those people we want to put that label on to. And then hell is let loose.

Never! Nietchze was the philosopher the NAZI's followed. Murdering innocent civilians under whatever pretext is never acceptable, (ask the Jewish population of Europe about the Holacaust). All these people died because Israeli politicians got it wrong.

If I understand the Israeli argument at all, then they are saying that the majority of the people who died were Hezbollah. (Does that include the women and children?) Those whose houses were destroyed allowed Hezbollah to launch rockets from their rooftops and the roads were used to send aid to these Hezbollah supporters.

Over 1500 Lebanese died, mainly civillians, nearly 160 Israelis died, mainly soldiers. Whose greater good are we talking about?Whose conscience are we trying to ease?

No war can be justified Nietchze not withstanding. Not everything he wrote is any kind of philosophical law.

Since the war is against Hezbollah, your reasoning is flawed.
