With some people it is the way they are brought up, with others could be their culture and with the rest, just shyness, a suprise is the fact that the most shy women in public are the most agressive with their man in the bedroom!

Well I'm going through this crap right now!!!! My b/f & I (or should I say I) discuss this alot here lately. And I actually got an answer out of him!!! When we first started dating we couldn't get enough of each other!!! Sex, cuddling, going out together...just being together all the time. Man that was nice!! But now he's slacking in the 'bonding" department!!! I don't know about all men but this is the reason he thinks it is now hard for him to show affection: He said that when you start to date someone, you have to pull out all of your special 'tricks' if you really want the girl. He says even women 'put it on thick' at first & that's done by male & female b/c you have to do what's neccessary to "real your love interest" into the boat. And maybe he's right in a very small way though!!! I still dote over him to this day & he's always kicked back, relaxing and hardly hugging me back.He says that he can't be a 'manly-man' if he's cuddling & kissing all the time. LOL. Here's where I disagree- - - "What you did to get me... You need to do to keep me!!!?

Sometimes its due to inexperience. Sometimes its due to fear of rejection and sometimes its due to fear of being not normal "aka" uncool, and yes some do not understand the true meaning. I cannot answer how one can overcome this because I have a friend who is in the same boat. I can see the love in his eyes, I can feel the love in his heart, I can feel the love in his hands, and I can see the things he does for me, and I can feel it in the air when we hold each other, however he cannot or will not say it. I use to long to hear the words, but as long as I can feel the strong emotion from his body to mine when we are together I dont need to hear the words. Its very plain to me and thats all that really matters.

those are people who concentration extra on the outward definition of holiness or cleanliness (which contain very own hygiene, respectable clothing, a solid training, etc) extremely than the flexibility of Godliness that's the flexibility to alter one's character to be conformed to equivalent to Christ. like the pharisees, they DO tithe and supply maximum of their earnings to fat-bellied ministers in church yet they ignore with regard to the main needed concerns of the regulation specifically: justice, faithfulness AND mercy to the undesirable. Christians who quickly and pray yet are detached to the desires of others. those fellows may even sing properly of their church choir yet are out of track with the undesirable AND the homeless! Such human beings declare they understand God, yet they DENY him by ability of how they stay. they're detestable and disobedient, valueless for doing something solid. those are the individuals who "act non secular, yet they are going to reject the flexibility that would lead them to godly. stay far off from human beings like that!" Their end would be what their strikes deserve. (Matthew 15:2; Romans 12:a million-2; Matthew 23:23; Isaiah fifty 8; Amos 5:22-24; Titus a million:sixteen; 2 Timothy 3:5 NLT & 2 Cor. 11:15)

My first hubby was emotionally detatched, This is because he was Tainted by his ex girlfriend, A tramatic event involving love can deter someone from ever opening themselves up again.... I never found a cure, but you can choose to live with love that isnt the fairytale I did for ten years and then divorced because I needed more. My exes girlfriend was his life he wanted to marry her, She was prego with another guys baby and after the baby was born she left him and married his best friend! yeah they don't get over that! EVER! He used to keep her picture in his wallet! Good luck

You could be not so afraid of rejection or think down on yourself. Think highly of yourself
