CLEARLY WASIM IS THE BEST.
HE MAINTAINED CONSISTENCY..A RARE THING AMONG FAST BOWLERS.
HE CAN BAT TREMENDOUSLY.
MANY TIMES HE WON THE MATCH WITH HIS BATTING.
WITH HIS PRESENCE, HE BOOSTED ALL CO-PLAYERS MORALE HIGH.

Wasim is better cricketer in terms of bowler and captain. Wasim Akram is the only bowler to born who can bowl six different varieties of balls in a single over. Wasim is also outstanding in batting where he hit massive scores in ODI and tests.
Also his physique and attitude is of a world class captain and player. Waqar, the founder of reverse swing in cricket is also an outstanding bowler but when compared with Wasim, then Waqar is a bit behind.

both deadly accurate with a ball waqar's inswinging yorker took many a wicket along with his sheer pace but wasim being a left hander had that ball that always nipped back to the right hander and either got him lbw or took his leg stump also his ability to bowl so many different deliveries in an over,wasim was also a much better batsman more of an all-rounder than just a bowler.

From an Aussie here - Wasim Akram is the better of the two. Speed means nothing if you can't swing a ball like Wasim can and he is a better batsman too.

both r differnt type pf players...overall as player...i think wasim is better...coz he batted well as well....waqar was more deadlly...while wasim was a true master...his best thing wwas that all his 6 delieveries used 2 b differnt....waqar in his peak days was deadlier than any other bowler in the world...but wasim was more consistent...more economical and dead straight....its only a 20 to 19 in favor of wasim...both were truly awsome

They both are the very brilliant bowler Waqar's riverse swing and Wasim's yorker's but I think Wasim is better.
