Have no idea, but you have a point. My married man is healthier because he doesnt have to do the yard work, housework, cooking, cleaning, maintenance on the house, laundry because thats what he has me for, so the stress level is minimal. He works 30 hours a week and I work over 40 so.. there again, stress and money is not an issue. Hmmmmmmmm... interesting. So, I guess the old bag will live forever huh????

I don't think that it's true because the longevity of a person does not depend on one's being married or not but on his health habits. If he knows how to take good care of himself particulary his health, not forgetting tohav ehis daily exercises, resfful sleeps, and healthy foods, I don't see any reason why he will not live longer based on health. Other things may shorten his life but you may exclude health reasons in the list.

Yes it's true. I read somewhere a while back that it has to do with being lonely and getting depressed from that, and that leading to other health issues down the line.

Thats just a saying. There is no scientific evidence of that.
So no reason to be dead.
By the way how old are you?
