B&q Woodworm Treatment

It needs to be treated by a professional. The chemicals used are very strong. We had it in our loft last year, the council expert reckoned it had been there for at least 10 - 15 years. They sprayed! I'm not sure if you can get an over the counter wood worm treatment. Though maybe you can! We wasted money on trying to treat a wasps nest under our eaves this year. It didn't matter how many times we treated them with over the counter wasp nest killers, it didn't get rid of them. Then we called the council, paid £30 and it was done and dusted. When we asked him about this, he explained that they have to have a special license for the different chemicals they use, due to there strength, and that the type you buy over the counter is only a third of the strength. So I should imagen it would be the same with the wood worm treatment. Where is your woodworm, you don't say? Sorry I can't be of any more help, I would try your local B&Q that type of place.

Any good hardware or ironmongers store will stock it. Comes in a liquid form that you can just brush on.
