Can Mac users avail of audio-video chats like other PC users do aside from using iChat between Macs.

What other Messenger progams can Mac users avail of to be able to voice-chat with PC users. Yahoo!Messenger for Mac support Video but not Voice feature. Microsoft's Messenger for Mac does not support both Video and Voice unlike it's PC counterpart.

How do I add a buddy to my iChat buddy list if they don't have AIM or .Mac account? Can I add my Yahoo! and MSN buddies and Skypes as well to my iChat buddy list? How?

iChat uses a jabber transport, so you can easily chat (IM) with PC users running clients like MSN or Yahoo! Messenger. If you want to be able to voice-chat with PC users, Skype is the way to go. You can make free calls, providing both parties have the software running of their systems. In addition, you can use Skype to send instant messages to other Skype users.

My husband and that i take advantage of Yahoo Messenger with our information superhighway cameras. His window (no longer computing device -- very own computing device) and my Mac have no issues of Yahoo. i think of Google's iChat might artwork (google communicate, i think of).

You can use iChat with an AIM account and talk with anyone using AIM. Voice, video or IM.
