i am having negative thoughts,bad dreams that disturbs me a lot is due i am pessisimistic

Read books written by successful persons as many as possible.
They are all positive and optimistic, with great passion. Their positive attitude will evoke your optimistic thought hidden in the bottom of your mind, and will guide you to successful life.

Ah, I can relate. I'm pessimistic and it is conveyed to the world through a very sarcastic form of humor.

Unfortunately, it is probably a part of my character and can't be changed. Fortunately, there are ways of "optimizing" pessimism. You can socialize with similar people and laugh with each other...Watch funny, stupid shows on the television before you sleep to ward off nightmares.

Also don't read tragic novels or anything like that, but read comedies, and listen to "lighter," "happier" music.

If you paint your room yellow it will also help. Supposedly blues and purples can make people depressed whereas lighter colors can make people more optimistic.

All in all, pessimism may just be a natural part of a person's personality, like it is with me. I am not trying to change it now, but I socialize with those who understand me and humor me. And that has made me the most "optimistic" I can be.
