I am Canadian and lived in Scotland. The only thing I found wierd was having to get used to a different money system.

I have lived in 6 different countries and spent a lot of time in more than 40 others.
There is nothing weird about them. Any of them.
The only thing that is weird are the people who travel to those countries not expecting things to be different to what they are used to. These people travel with a closed mind. Fortunately most countries inhabitants have open minds and are welcoming and nice.

I am really fortunate for having visited 8 countries where thousands of peole I met are kindly and respectful. Everywhere I see abundant love and friendly assistance; I know not anything such as weird, strange or hateful.
Hatry, strangeness, alienism... were outdated sentiments of human childhood.Today, our world is rapidly turning into one country, or even as closer as a village. We, the mature humanity, must speedily learn to adopt a world vision and to live with our brothers and sisters everywhere in love and peace.

I spent alomost twelve years in the Gulf Region, I was wondering why they always prayed 5 times a day, even in the middle of the highway when timing comes, but still doing what is forbidden in their religion (ie. killing innocent civilians in the pretext of fighting for freedom, etc.)

I lived in the UK for 2 years. Worcestershire was very much like my hometown-small& stuck in a time period.
When I moved to London, it was fantastic. Everything is so ultra-available, and accessible.

No. I have been to Ireland and wouldn't mind living there a few months out of the year.
