I daresay you are all very wrong, there are more than 2 different types of wrestling. Greco-Roman and Freestyle are 2 types, yes, but to truly grasp the art of wrestling in it's entirety one must not forget other wrestling styles. Sumo Wrestling comes to mind, we can add that as a third, and Shoot Wrestling, which relies mostly on holds. What about Luchadore Wrestling? Those high flying moves and standing high risk moves are a style all their own. Sure they get overlooked, but they're every bit as important and practical as other styles. The "professional" wrestling you see today has incorperated all of these styles together to create the spectacular hoax that is the WWE/ECW/TNA or any other sports entertainment show. Check out the link below to see other wrestling types you may have missed.

There two types of real wrestling practiced in America: Greco-Roman and freestyle.

Greco-Roman is the type performed in the Olympics, while freestyle is practiced in high school and college.

The so-called "wrestling" practiced in the WWE is totally fake and not a sport. It is mostly acting.

the WWE is called profesional wrestling, it is not actually a sport but more a cartoon for children.

Real wrestling is amateur wrestling, this involves actual wrestling and has actual rules rather than men dressed in costumes acting and insulting each other in some kind of pathetic soap opera.
