I’ll answer the last question first…
Much of what I have heard coming from the mouths of drunks is absolute ‘crap’…
So my response to that question is ‘not necessarily’.

As for your first question…
If you realise and accept that your behaviour when you drink is not what you would like it to be… Congratulations!!!
Now you need to act on it, by not drinking.

Make your self-respect really count for something.
You are a special person… You deserve to be seen at your best.
If ‘drinking’ is going to force you to be seen at your worst, it is advisable for you to leave the drink alone.
That may or may not be easy for you to do.
If you need ‘help’ don’t hesitate to ask for it.

Good luck!!!
