I don't know about being friends because Iam older than you but a great way to meet and start up online friendships is to get yourself a 360 page. It is free on yahoo and you can put more info about yourself on it. If you ever get one up and running you can check out my friends and their friends, etc, etc and find people you want to connect with and invite them to your page. Then you can ask people to check out you 360 on Q's/A's and people might be more inclined to make friends if they know what your about. Good luck
