It just seems wierd to me. And, mostly I'm referring to American/Canadian porn stars. Any idea what's up with that?

I'm not 40. I'm 22. And being bald has nothing to do with liking porn.

Simply because they like them, that is all! There is no under lying reason, they get them for many reasons just like everyone else does. Porn stars come from all walks of life, look at Jenna Jameson one of the porn star leaders, her father supported her even though he was not thrilled about it, he is proud of her because she is a good person. She had a great upbringing, they were not poor people.
Basically It is because they appreciate art, they want their special name or something else that is meaningful to them, they like what they stand for, they like pain or may not. I feel being a porn star has nothing to do with it however being a porn star shows they are open minded and usually open minded intelligent people get tattoos not narrow minded criticizing people.

You would be surprised how many "average" people do in fact have tattoos but most people tend to remain fully clothed when in view of others therefore their tattoos (depending where they are of course) remain hidden. Porn stars therefore appear to have more as on the whole the only time you see them is when they are partially or fully naked thus their tattoos are much more visible.

I must be a lot older than you, because I have never seen a tattoo on a porn star. I have not seen any "new" porn, but it is most likely a "porn fad".

Most women who do porn come from abusive backgrounds. One of the things that abuse survivors do is piercing, tattooing, etc. It's a way of exerting control over one's own body, when that control has been violated.
This isn't to say that all people with tats/piercings are abuse survivors. I have tats because I like them.

Whats wrong with tatts?dont even go there i have 6 and i luv them all ,to each his own.And people apparently dont care cause porn stars make more than you will ever see in a lifetime.And you must not either your buying the movies and watching them so whats up with that?My question is why does over 40 year old bald men have to watch porn to get it up anymore?Whats really up with that?

It's not so weird.Porn stars didn't come from Upper class homes growing up,alot of them were street people.Alot of people from the street have tattoo's and piercings.

dunno what porn you be watching as most porn stars i've seen DONT have tattoos.... then again some also use the special make-up to hide the tattoos

All the porn star get almost the same booty (sp?), the same make up, the same moan, the same sex skill. What can you identify them is the tattoo.

When u become a pornstar is cuz u dnt care bout urself. Also if u do drugs n sh1t. Thats why most of them have tattoos. cuz of that and that they're dumb
