I, personally, am not gay.
But I just have to say, it is alright to be gay, and it is not something to "overcome," it's something to embrace. It can not be changed, it can only be repressed. And it is not weakness-in fact, it takes a lot of strength to admit you are gay in this society.

I'm not gay, but I've known many myself.
I loved the ones I knew, and they were genuine, caring, friendly, fun and wonderful people.
They are born with this perversion and it's a weakness; a problem they have to work through and learn to control and change and turn into a strength. We are taught that it is wrong and it's against the very laws of nature, but it's possible to overcome it.
