The top of my internet browser (where the toolbars go and stuff) has gone completly mad!!!

The back and forward button is on the left side. And when i type in a website there "go" button is gone!!!

How do i reset it or at least get it back to normal (normal would be the back and forward button on the right side, the "go" button there again etc)

If you are still able to see back and forward buttons then just drag them and place where you want.

click on view in intrenet explorer and see address bar, standard buttons are selected. goto customize further and make sure every thing what you want is checked.

now select lock the toolbars.

see if it helps

if you have windows go to system restore and back the computer up to a date before you had the problem. click start then all programs then move the cursor to accessories and then to system tools then to system restore and click that. a screen will come up that says welcome to sys restore. click on restore my computer to an earlier time. you will see a box there with arrows on right side and left, click the left one and then click the date you want then click next. i might have left a small something out but if i could figure all this out then so can you. it has saved me a lot of trouble that i have gotten myself into. my computer was so wack that i thought it was all over but i fixed it. if you dont have windows you can google and find what you need for your comp. good luck. never call the man and pay money for what you could have done for free with a little work on google and by studying your computer some. you could make the tool bar go away if you delete the program it is on. you have to figure that one out, i did

Try Closing, and starting your IE.
If that did no work, open IE, then click View -> Toolbars
and make sure there is a check mark next to
Standard buttons & Address Bar

If that did not fix your problem, you may have a bug, and need to take care of it with a anti-virus.

Alternativlly switch to FireFox browser, you will find very easy to use, and TAB fucntion of it is GREAT

Good luck

Sounds like your browser is a little crazy. Reset your browser preferences to default setting or re-install the application.

if not, type stinger into your search engine and download "Mcafee avert stinger" you may have to do this on another computer and use a memory stick to transfer it . follow the instructions and run it.
if your been changing the setttings the go to system restore and run your computer back to when it worked
i think its a virus !
