To play nintendo DS over the internet with the wifi connecter, do you have to have a wireless connection from your cable company or will a cable modem work???

or you can just buy the 30$ stick you push into your pc's usb slot

You need a wireless access point, like a router, the DS will connect to the router and that will connect to the internet, its an extremely easy job for a professional, hire one.
