You escape reasoning. Cena and Batista dont belong in an ECW arena. Thats why they are boo'd. Most ECW fans, old ones, hold no loyalty to WWE whatsoever. The new ECW, now being called WWECW by internet fans. The one thing some fans expected, was more of the old ECW to still exist, and got sorely let down by the fact it really isnt. However, Heyman was open and honest before it even started that wouldnt be the case. Its impossible for old ECW to live on when Heyman barely has control over the product.
Does the show suck? No.
Does it have sucky things about it? Yes.
Can it improve? Absolutely.
What can improve it?
2 hours instead of 1 hour, this could give the show time to develop characters, WWE really has no grip anymore on how to deal with a 1 hour show properly. Especially with all the high expectations of the fans about ECW.
Get more good wrestlers in there, that was a staple of ECW, good wrestling was a main draw. Seems they are jus pushing WWE rejects on to the roster now and that isnt going to float well with fans.. i.e. Dupree, Stryker, Test, Big Slow, ect.. They should get the good talents from OVW and DSW and all the feds they work with. It could be a great proving ground for upcoming stars.
Give the show back to Heyman.. bottom line, that would help a great deal.
Put the strap on an old ECW star, not a former star known for his work largely in WWE. RVD or Sabu would be great canidates for this.
Bring back the TV title.
.. one improvement thus far, they finally have thier own PPV in December, that was important. Hopefully its not full of WWE matches.. This PPV is a chance to do some real good character development and storylines implemented. Hopefully it goes this way.

In it's present shape, it's pretty lame...but still better than SmackDown, and not much worse than Raw (which it really plays like an extra hour of, anyway)...anyone that was a fan of the REAL ECW knows what I'm talking about...at least ECW even as it exists now takes the talent a bit more seriously than either Raw or SmackDown (fewer lame characters, at least)...and if they boo Batista and Cena, you ever stop to think that it's because they're either not working hard as they could (and should) or because the booers (many of them) are old-time ECWers who are naturally going to boo most WWE wrestlers (especially the newer ones...people like Undertaker still get their respect)...besides, if a wrestler gets booed, at least he's getting a reaction, and frankly, that's part of his job...I think personally ECW is a disappointment, but it's far from the worst show

Batista and Cena are probably the worst wrestlers in the world. That's why people boo them. Go to any wrestling forum which has die hard wrestling fans and you'll see why. First up, they both have no "wrestling" skills. You want to know what wrestling means? Watch TNA, ROH or PWG.
At the moment, ECW is the best show for WWE. Well, it's not like it used to be. Not as extreme that is. But, a lot of underrated talent are getting their chance now. Test & Mike Knox are getting pushed. Haven't heard much about Knox, though I know he was in DSW, a devlopmental talent centre for the WWE. Test is a great wrestler for a big man, wrongly used by WWE the first time. Hopefully, they'll learn from their mistakes now. Then, we have ECW's latest additions Matt Striker and Hardcore Holly. Matt Striker is my 3rd favourite wrestler in the WWE at the moment. His promos have been amazing, and his wrestling skill is as well. Holly is a bit stiff, but great. HBK s my favourite wrestler in the WWE and in all promotions, and now, I'll introduce you to my 2nd favourite wrestler in the WWE. CM Punk! Yes, once of the best wrestlers in the world at this point, probably only Bryan Danielson and Samoa Joe are hanging with him at No. 1 spot. This guy is freaking amazing, and I'm glad WWE are pushing him, as he deserves it!
The vampire, Kevin Thorn, has been very good so far. But, then again, it was the Sci Fi Network that wanted such a gimmick. He's doing very well IMO.
Fact is, if you want entertainment, if you want to see half naked girls dancing on the screen, if you want to see the Chairman flirting with everybody(I mean everybody), watch Raw or Smackdown. If you want high flying action, "wrestling", and non retarded gimmicks, watch TNA, ROH or PWG.
ECW is somewhere in the middle, and could go both ways, in my opinion.

For a true fan of ECW, like those that bought the first ever ppv or those that drove to philly to see the shows, ecw is the worst by far. The vampire character, wtf is that? The way they are using the Sandman is just pathetic. As for how can they boo batista and cena, they arent ecw. ECW wasnt about looking pretty or catchphrases, it was about giving the fans what they wanted, one hell of a show. It would be better to just leave ECW dead and buried rather than make a mockery of it. BWO, where the hell are they? You dont have Raven, Rhyno, or the Dudleys. As many have said, this isnt ECW by far, it's WWECW

ECW is the best wrestling show on TV right now. It has the best storylines, some of the best talent, and praises WRESTLING over TALKING and SHOWBOATING which is what Cena and Batista get praised for. They cant wrestle. They throw guys around and run into them. thats not wrestling. Wrestling is an art and Cena and Batista are the Play Doh and Crayola of Art, where as guys like Eddie Guererro(RIP), Chris Benoit, Bryan Danielson, are the Picasso, Van Gogh, and Da Vinci of Wrestling.

ok like the king said all those time before the ecw went on air,it is ecw on other words extreme crappy wrestling-just ecw not wwe or better tna,i'm starting to watch that now.and ecw will never be the same if vince is running it still,paul heyman should just save his money and maybe buy it back from him and go back to the old days of ecw.then maybe put it on channel 61,g4tv,vh1or hbo.
