You asked if I believed this. I would ‘love’ to believe this, but I have not seen that much evidence of it. Some people seem to find a soul mate, but many do not.

The romantic person I used to be wants to scream out the word YES! But the slightly embittered, experienced side of me no longer believes it. Yet I still feel joy to see that there are so many open-minded romantics out there who are so full of hope.

I did,...... then I didnt........ finally now I think I found her,yes it someone I like a long time ago,allway something got in the way,when you look into there eyes,you know, a diffrent feeling,(from other) you never felt it before,I heard about it before,now I know it true,

Yes! I know I've found mine.
The way I KNOW I will be with this same person again and again, as we both travel thru the many lives we all have, is held fast in both my heart and mind - my soul. And, humorously, I might add it's almost a "like it or not" condition. Which is to say you may not be in total agreement all the time. You may be totally different in many regards.
While our relationship is mostly blissful, we both feel we really had no choice in the matter of finding each other in this time, we just lucked out. I also feel that choice is a correct word to use b/c the choice was made by us long, long ago. I can't really explain these feelings, I just know they're in me.
I also believe there is only one "mate" for each person. Other ppl you feel "mated" with are what I call kindred spirits and they often appear and disappear. And while there is no guarantee you will always find this soulmate, in every lifetime, b/c you may not. What I do KNOW is that once you find one and you make the choice, you will always have one!

No. I believe that there are people who may get along exceptionally well but I do not believe in a level above the visceral. Try as they might, they will only think that they can read each others' minds, feel the same things, or answer every question correctly and with aplomb on their appearance on the now defunct Newlywed's Game. When that realization comes to light, then where do you go... how far do you fall when you find out that this person may not be your 'soul mate'?

yes. i found several in this lifetime. soulmates dont always have to be lovers. they are simply that: mates from long ago. i found them as family, friends, and yes, lovers.
its nice bumping into them, from the past till now. id love to bump into some of them again if i still get to come back after this lifetime. my soul is kinda old and and im not sure where il be after this. but its nice to meet people who have loved you from way way past-- the connection is awesomely out of this world. the wavelengths are the same. sometimes, you dont even need to say anything to keep each other company and stay happy together. you're so comfortable in each other's presence, its so uncanny.
i hope you found nice soulmates this lifetime.

Yes, I do believe that because with all the people on this planet, there are bound to be people that can connect unimaginably well... although we do not always get to meet the perfect ones..

i don't believe in soul mates, mostly because i don't think that there a many people in the world that don't ignore there souls for the all mighty dollar.i have come to believe that we can find people we can deal with, but not share our souls.
