can anyone tell me if this book is fiction or real life? is it any good? can you name good authors? i recommend jodi picoult that woman is a legend

It's fiction, and yes, I've heard from two different sources that it's really good (one my sister who did an English degree, and one a friend doing a PhD in Latin American culture). So if you're coming from a highbrow background and you like psychological heavyweights you should enjoy it. But then again, I'm guessing it can't be too tough going (haven't read it myself) since it's up there in the bestseller lists? Here's some reviews to help you decide:
