I have accidentally bought two PS2 games. One is Jaws Unleashed and the other Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2. They are my favourite games and I want to play the so badly but I only have PS1. Which PS should I buy? Is PS3 good? Is it worth it?

Of course, no one will be able to truly judge the PS3 until it is officially released in November of this year. Go to the Sony site (www.sony.com) and check out the new specs for this unit vs. PS2. There is a world of difference in graphics but the PS3 starts at 499 and you know you will want a spare controller and couple of games to go with it. The PS3 plays the other platform games so you won't be out. Plus, PS3 will support the new blu-ray dvd format so you can skip upgrading that DVD player that won't play them. If you can spare an extra 100 dollars, you can go with built in wifi which is da bomb. If you change your mind, just wait until the Holidays and pick up a PS2 for next to nothing either used, ebay or new in the box since everyone will be trading theirs in for the new PS3.
Independent reviews say PS3 will blow away xbox 2. Of course, xbox 3 will be coming next year so that won't last long.

One thing is you never buy a game untill you have a console two why would you buy a PS2 now if PS3 is out soon and 3 WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH A PS1!?!?! Besides that get your *** to the shop and wait for a PS3

Well, if you are impatient, and just wanna play games I recommend Ps2
now if you're rich buy Ps3 cause they can play ps2 games too and have many features.
although be warned that some game makers are slowing down on their releases cause of the market availability of ps3. (it's already released but you don't hear many players owning one now do ya?) cause it is still expensive. It's a tough world out there, and people wait for that ps3 console to get cheap or at least have many titles.
so what you think? I gave my opinion :) boith are okay but if you have the money... ps3.

The PS3 is supposed to play both PS and PS2 games. Patience fella! It will pay off!
