Most people have failed at something weather it is a grade or something else in life. Some teachers are not good at teaching (most are), some people do not learn good in class (most can). Everyone is different. I am good in Chemistry but bad in English. I do not do well behind a desk but like to move around. If people have not failed in something they will, noone is perfect.

I suppose one would get failing grade...because they failed at what they were being graded for?
Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Grades are used to measure our progress in school. If you get a good grade it means your ready to progress to the next level. A failing grade doesn't always mean you're bad, it just means you need more time to study the topic to raise your grade.
Parents who punish kids for low grades are jackasses because low grades only point out where we need to focus our attention. (And I don't mean due to lack of effort)
I know parents who punish their kids because one of their grades were lacking, so they grounded the kid until the next grading period. The kids grew up to hate school AND their parents pressure!
Low grades as well as good ones help us all.

Some people are not gifted and dont study hard. If u're gifted, u dont have to study to get good grades, but if on the contrary ure not, then u'd have to study hard to not get failing grades.

Don't do your homework OR hand it in!
Don't pay attention in class
Don't ask questions
Freeze up on tests
Cannot Read OR understand what is being asked.
Have ADD/ADHD/DYSLEXIA

bcoz we dont put our full effort..sometimes we dont play 2 our full strengths...some times its just our bad luck..
