Use the time to catch up on all the things you have let slide. Sort your clothes out, have a beauty session, write the cards and letters you have been meaning to get round to, start an exercise routine.
Plan what you are going to wear for him when he gets back, fill the house with flowers, read some cookbooks and shop specially for the great meal you are going to cook for him...
Then he'll be back and you'll be kicking yourself because there will be some much you didn't have time to get round to doing...

Just find plenty to do and remember that each day that goes by is one day less till you see him again. Probably on the next visit to see his dad, you'll be taken along as well. As you've only been together 2 months, this trip may have been planned before you met. Next time if you're asked, go with him. I'm on holiday in France now with my boyfriend of 10 months and I love it.

Honey, what you are suffering is what we used to call the blues.
Don't fight 'em; enjoy 'em!
Realise that at this particular point in time you are supposed to feel just like you do and relish that feeling. Embrace the emotion you feel and claim it as your right to experience the pain of separation.
Do whatever makes you enjoy missing him.
And then, after a day or two you will get tired of feeling that way and start to look FORWARD to his return to you.
You'll start to make plans, thinking of a special welcome home dinner or wearing a new dress you know he will love when you pick him up at the airport.
You'll be fine.
It's okay to miss someone you love. Just don't act like you think they are dead or never coming back.
He'll be back.
You'll be fine.

Just keep really busy, and the time will fly by. Remember it's only a week.
Can't you phone him a couple of times a day for 10 minutes just to make you feel better.

just keep yourself busy and try not to think about him too much. Other friends and family would be more than willing to help in that regard. Always plenty of help out there.

Just use this time to pamper yourself, so you will be looking your best when he gets back, so you'll both have a great time catching up. the time will fly if you keep yourself occupied honest.

from the song...'I got along without you before I met you, gonna get along without you now." you don't want to scare him off by being overly clingy.
