Believe you are a good person and respect yourself enough to be that good person. Then use self-talk to remind yourself of the many strengths you have and keep working on those weaker points that bother you and you wish to improve. And know that God doesn't Make Junk.

take out your low esteem mask and dive into the life pool without turning back. Forget about the self esteem and other similar time wasting beliefs.

Complimenting people, it's quite empowering--as goofy as that may sound. You have the power to make someone smile or brighten someone's day, it feels good. Now, I'm not talking about overdoing it or anything or kissing people's asses-- be genuine. Telling someone you like something about them warms them up to you almost instantly. So, people are nicer to you-- then you feel better, and they will feel comfortable about saying what they think is nice about you because they know you are not trying to be "competitive" w/ them....deep down, we are a rather competitive species.
So, try it out, see if it works for you. :o)

By thinking positive, setting goals for yourself, exercise, eat right, feel and look your best for only yourself. Have at least one friend. Be the best you can be and if noone likes it too bad so sad for them. Don't forget to laugh and smile :)

by knowing what shot it down in the first place.

oftentimes we feel sad about our states of being without knowing why we are the way we are. i was there once. i journeyed within me to know where the wound lies. i saw a hurt child within me, traced it to childhood hurts, marital hurts, loss-of-a-child hurts-- then started coming to terms with them.

i took stock of my life. i counted my blessings. i made myself WHOLE again by accepting me for who i am. what i dont like, i changed. what i cant change, i accepted. i started loving myself. i suggest you do the same. it will do wonders to your soul to be loved by you.
